                         Featuring: The Rook

Design is inspired by the rock and castle design of the Staunton style rook chess piece.


Table Top:

- Features elegant black and grey ceramic tiles as the chessboard squares. Squares are slightly smaller than 2x2, and give a total playing area of 15"x15".

- Tiles feature a topographic design that rises toward the middle. 

- Surrounding the 15" x 15" playing area is a stunning rim of bronze crystal and glass, (optionally) illuminated by either an LED light.

- Around the board are planks of grey barn wood that give a bold design contrast. 

- The table rim is poplar in black stain. 


Table Base:

- Features an elegant, tiered box as the base. Solid wood post extends to an interlocking frame that secures to the top via four bolts.

- The pedestal is solid poplar and oak hardwood in a either a black or grey stain, with a semi-gloss finish. 


***Note: Wood grain inherently varies and each table will be unique.


LED Light Information:

- Light is operated via a physical device underneath the tabletop.

- Available in warm white. (Cool White or RGB available upon request)

- Note the light is permanently embedded in the resin and is not replaceable. Light is rated for at least 10 years, or more than 20,000 hours of use.


Chess Pieces

- Pieces shown are available for purchase.

- These are Staunton-style, bronze and zinc metal coated, moderately weighted, high quality pieces. They also come with one additional queen of each color.
