                         Symbolizing strength and power, this 14k yellow gold lion motif Art Nouveau bangle bracelet is endowed with a force all its own.

Mouth agape, eyes forward, mane flying, this lion's countenance is dotted with three old European cut diamonds, two at the eyes and one in the mouth. This feline motif was a popular one during the years of the Art Nouveau in America (c. 1890-1920).

With a total of .30 carats of scintillation, the diamonds enliven the male lion's impact. This three-dimensional element is applied onto the gold tubes. Beside him rest organically shaped elements that segue to graduated spheres of gold. 

Hinged, the entire bracelet was created in 14k yellow gold. Two tubes of gold divide at the sides to hold the design elements and merge to form the back of the bracelet. Weighty, the construction is solid and not hollow. A safety chain ensures security. 

Date: Circa 1905.

Measurements: Will fit a medium to large wrist up to 8 1/2 inches or more. Width at widest of 15/16 inches and 5/16 inches at back. Weight of 30.7 grams. 

Hallmarks: 14k, Pat. May 27, 02.  (design patented in May 27, 1902).

Condition: Excellent.
