Kit will produce up to 1.5 lbs of amazing Shiitake mushrooms! 

Your mushroom kit will arrive alive and growing, and will be partially to fully colonized with multiple weeks growth already. Shiitake kits will produce mushrooms per the timeline below.
• at 2 weeks, white mycelium appears and begins to spread
• at 4 weeks, rapid growth and full colonization of the growing kit contents
• Shiitake mushrooms require around 12 weeks growth to produce mushrooms

Grow indoors at any time of year, or outdoors during Spring-Summer-Fall. Shiitake blocks survive harsh winters outdoors in the garden quite nicely, to produce again when conditions cool and moist. See my listing photos - some of my garden blocks are 3 years old and still producing.
