Alternatively, here is also the opportunity to purchase an entire SET of 5 of these VINTAGE, beautiful Authentic Vintage Herman Miller Eames Soft Pad Executive Chairs! 

These chairs are on the highly coveted vintage 4-point bases, and are model EA422. They are upholstered in beautiful brick red wool fabric and are in excellent vintage condition, with no rips, tears or holes in the fabric. The tilt/swivel/ reclining mechanisms work as they should. The casters roll beautifully, and they can also be removed to make this a reclining stationary chair! These chairs can be used as lounge chairs or executive office / conference room chairs.  There is only a slight wear to the fabric. These chairs are FABULOUS!!

The Herman Miller Soft Pad Collection (1969) of luxuriously padded chairs evolved from their Aluminum Group Collection, which began as a special project for Eero Saarinen and Alexander Girard, who needed seating for a house they were designing for J. Irwin Miller. With the addition of plush seat cushions, the Soft Pad Collection retains the style of the earlier Aluminum Group chairs but adds significant comfort. “We have to take pleasure seriously,” said Charles Eames. No matter what the Eameses did, they did it with passion and imagination, and in the process, they changed lives.
