The upgrade armor finish, which provides a medium satin sheen, uses a quality, post-catalyzed, alkyd-amino varnish that is formulated to offer superior durability and UV protection. It also helps prevent scratching and denting. Hand-peeled logs preserve the dramatic contrast of colors – from coffee to caramel to blond – and gorgeously complex graining patterns to create a timeless look brimming with rustic appeal. The mortise and tenon joinery used is as durable and reliable today as it was when introduced thousands of years ago.
