Side Table No. 1

Constructed with Claro Walnut using waterfall mitered joinery for the case (waterfall miter = grain wraps uninterrupted around the whole case) and exposed angled bridal joints for the leg housing. The design goal was to have very clean, unassuming lines and a piece riddled with subtle details throughout the joinery, angles, facets, and grain variation. 

A piece that is constantly drawing one's attention, but never screaming to be seen.  

Pulls are leather and brass, made in-house, but can customize any drawer pull to your liking.

FINISH
We use a natural (and food-safe) oil/wax finish to protect and highlight the beauty of the wood so that it can be enjoyed in day-to-day activities by all ages without fear. Any spills can easily be wiped off and, over time, a simple application of oil will revitalize the piece as needed based on personal preference. Yes, it's designed to be beautiful, but it's also built to be lived in and a part of your family's life.
