    A platinum estate ring reveals fire and ice with a burst of radiant color from the most sought after of rare gemstones...a non-heat treated Burmese ruby.

    This majestic of corundum gemstones weights 4.08 carats and is clothed in a ballerina’s tutu of twenty-four tapered baguette diamonds, total weight of 3 carats (G-H color; VS2-SI1 clarity). Gorgeous vibrant hot rose coloration contrasts with light refracting from diamond facets shooting off a visual fantasy of fireworks.

    The ballerina type mount hugs the contours of the no heat Burma ruby in a sensual embrace with flounces and brilliance of light. Shoulders take on evocative curves as they gently taper into slender platinum shank. 

    The ruby is accompanied by an AGL certificate number CS83528.

    Date: Circa 1965. 

    Measurements: Length of 13/16 of an inch by 11/16 of an inch in width by 7/16 of an inch in height. Weight of 6.1 grams.
