                         Antique Georgian era earrings have such a graceful elegance. Is it the magic which has accumulated over the last several hundred years or the passions which they have ignited? No matter..light your own fire with these fantastic 15k yellow gold earrings.

Long and dangling, this supreme treasure is appointed with four pink faceted topaz, total weight of 5.25 carats. Pink topaz was a mainstay of this period and the incorporation of two oval faceted and two faceted teardrop gems set closed back and most likely foiled underneath sets the standard.

Light and lovely, the two-part articulated earrings reflect the shift during the period from cannetille gold work to that of repoussé (repousse). Coupled with open work design, repoussé work enabled the lengthy earrings to be comfortably worn.

Date: Circa 1830.

Measurements: Length of 2-3/8 inches with ear wire and 2-1/8 inches without by 15/16 of an inch in width. Weight of 12.8 grams for the pair.

Condition: Excellent; modern shepherd's hook ear wires.
