                         The color contrast of a ruby against the crystalline whiteness of diamonds makes for a chic ring. Add a mount of 18k white gold and elegance tops the mix.

An oval faceted ruby of 1.05 carats captures the attention of the crowd with its medium deep red saturation. Incorporating an asymmetrical mounting of 18k white gold, the centered ruby is flanked at acute angles by two (2) diamonds of .20 carats each, total .40 carats. 

Curved sides set with ten (10) diamonds of .03 carats each, total .30 carats kiss the edges of the ruby with glamour and shine. All the diamonds are fine at G-H color and VS clarity. Modern style in a dramatic ring. 

Date: Circa 1980.

Measurements: Width of 1/2 of an inch (11 mm) north to south on the finger and sits up 5/16 of an inch (7 mm) high off the finger. Weight of 4.5 grams.

Hallmarks: 18k. 

Condition: Excellent; ruby is heat treated as typical of 98% of the rubies in the marketplace.
