                         Antique Edwardian engagement ring with a .65 ct Old European Cut Diamond in a filigreed platinum setting. The band has a beveled design with miligrain detail. The filigree is open and airy, fitting the style of the era it was made. 

The Old European Cut was used up to around 1930. It has a higher crown and slather facets than the modern brilliant.
